A wonderful week, pampered by René, Walter and Isabel! We wanted a relaxing week. We all had been to PV enough times to not need to see the usual tourist things and Villa Encantada was perfect. Walter is an amazing seafood chef, René was always available to help in any situation and the house was immaculately cleaned every day by Isabel. Leave your worries at home and enjoy one of the best weeks of your life!

Perfect……….I don’t think I’d change a thing. I contacted the owner the day before we arrived and let him know we’d be arriving a little early and he said that wouldn’t be a problem. We got there early and ended up meeting Paul and his wife. They gave us some pointers and tips for the week.
Everything was great……………Rene and Walther (el diablo) were everything we expected and more. My wife’s birthday was the day we arrived and the staff went over the top to help us (along with 4 other couples) celebrate.
I can’t say enough about the house. You can read all of the reviews and see that this place is great! Better than you expect. Bottom line……….WE’LL BE BACK.

We had such a fun time staying at Villa Encantada the week of Thanksgiving. There were seven of us in the family and Rene (the house manager), Walther (the chef), and Isabel (the housekeeper who makes beds, refreshes towels each day, and does laundry), are at the house everyday, going out of their way to make everything so fun and relaxing. The house was very comfortable, the bedrooms each had their own bath, which was great. Everything is very nice, modern, well maintained, and very clean. Honestly, you will be amazed at the property, service and location for the price! The private pool was delightful. Walther made dinner three nights and we had breakfast 5 of the 7 days. I highly recommend having dinner at the Villa while you are there. Walther is a fantastic chef and Rene helps him prepare a lovely dinner. Breakfasts were always delicious and relaxing and a wonderful way to start each day. Our adult kids like dining out too, so we did dine out some nights; however we could have easily had dinner every night at the villa and we would have loved it. We arrived and were greeted with quacamole and margaritas–what a fun way to start a vacation. Even the nights we went into town for dinner, we arranged to have Rene and Walther make quacamole, nachos and margaritas! What a treat! I can’t say enough about how nice Rene , Walther and Isabel are–you will just love them. The location of the villa is terrific. You can actually walk down to a very nice beach. It’s a hike back up (the house is up on hill)– so be aware of that. However, cabs are really easy to get and cost about $3 to take you down the hill and into town. The main road doesn’t have sidewalks–if it did, it would be a short walk into town. The house is such a short distance to the Romantic Zone, which has lots of restaurants and is a fun area to walk around. All in all, we just had a wonderful time staying here. We really miss Rene, Walther and Isabel–they really spoiled us! You won’t be sorry you chose Villa Encantada for your vacation!

Our group stayed at Villa Encantada at the beginning of the month and we were more than happy with the property. We were a group of 10 and there was ample space for everyone – it was a nice surprise to see that the house is larger than the pictures might indicate. In previous rentals the opposite has normally been true – where the house was much smaller than thought. The common areas were spacious and well used by us. We especially loved dining on the deck watching the sunset over the ocean night after night. For a large group the privacy of the bedrooms was great. When we wanted to get away from each other and have some quiet time the bedrooms were a perfect solution. Each bedroom is large, comfortable and quiet.

The location of the house was also perfect for us, although we wanted a place away from town it was only a 15 minute walk down the hill to town and the beaches and then a quick inexpensive taxi ride back up. The neighborhood was pleasantly quiet. So we were able to enjoy both solitude and town life.

One of the best features of the house was the house staff. Rene, the houseman, made sure that we had everything we needed and helped with everything to making sure the house was stocked with our favorite food and beverages to helping us book a boat tour. Walter was an excellent chef and everything he made was delicious. Personal favorites was his flan and machaca con huevo (some of the best I’ve had anywhere). Plus they have great senses of humor and dealt with our craziness well! They really made us feel very welcome at Villa Encantada.

This is definitely a property I would like to return to on future trips to Puerto Vallarta.

Not only is this property wonderful! But the staff at the house and communication with the owner is everything that you look for when going out of the country. The meals that were prepared for us were delicious and plentiful!

It was 8 of us and yet we had enough space for everyone! The pictures don’t do the house justice! Rene (the houseman) helped provide us with transportation and information about the surrounding areas and made sure that we were always good.

We are so happy we found this house and even happier that we were able to stay here for our trip. This is house that you would love to stay at and will enjoy your stay.

We stayed at Villa Encantada with 3 couples and had the best time!! The layout of the house, individual air conditioners in each room, the pool and especially ALL of the food were perfect! We ate most of our meals at the house and they were the best meals we had the entire trip! The bacon wrapped shrimp was the best I’ve ever had and the guacamole was to die for! Walter and Rene were so fun and helpful and we will definitely stay here again!
