If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable home with an amazing staff & that resort feel with the privacy of a villa, you can stop looking. We (9 of us) just stayed at Villa Encantada for a week and I can’t even begin to tell you how great it was,,,,, but I’m gonna try anyway. 🙂

I looked for months for the perfect place to take some of my very close family friends & my parents to for their first time out of the US. I wanted a home that had a view of the bay, had 5 rooms that all had their own private bathroom, a pool, walking distance to old town (less than 15 minutes), a full staff and affordable. You wouldn’t think that’s too much to ask for right????? Well guess what, we found it!!!!! The layout of the home is literally perfect without feeling huge & awkward. The home is nicely decorated & kept amazingly clean & comfortable by Isabel. She was so quiet & efficient we almost didn’t know she was there. The houseman Renee took great care of us making sure our every need was met and made sure we had his cell # even on his day off incase we needed his assistance.

The food… the food… the food. Oh me oh my!!! Having been to PV several times before I thoughT for sure we would eat out a few different nights just so the family could experience the city. Our second night we were there was Sunday (the staffs day off) we went to a middle of the road place for drinks & dinner. We didn’t go crazy and the average cost for 2 drinks & dinner was around $50 (without dessert). Monday came & we had dinner at the villa again & were blown away at the service from Renee & the taste & presentation of the dinner prepared by the chef Walther (Walter). We never had another breakfast or dinner outside the villa again. Our least favorite & by far most expensive meal was outside the villa. We had 6 breakfasts and 5 dinners (each dinner had apps 1 hour before & dessert) prepared & served to us & a fair amount of alcohol. The total cost per person was $124 FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK! I paid $50 for the one dinner and drinks. I won’t make that mistake again.

At the end of the day we loved our visit at Villa Encantada! We love it so much we are booked again for a 10 day visit in just over a month. YAY!!!!! I can’t wait to get back and you should stop reading 100’s of reviews like I did and just book this place! You can thank me later. 😉

Our stay at Villa as fantasia was amazing. We booked it for a group of 12 to take some relaxing time after a wedding and our stay was amazing.
The villa is nice and big, the view is next to none from the terrace and balcony with a nice pool and only a few minutes walk from the beach (pretty steep walk though, coming back up will take longer).

The staff is also as good as it gets. Andre speaks perfect English and will cater to your every needs.

Walter, the cook, will make you some of the best food you’ve had at a very reasonable price. If you were thinking of going to an all inclusive, you should reconsider.

Isabel, the maid, managed to clean the house, every day with 12 people in the house without us noticing she was even here.

Anyways, to sum it up, I would definitely recommend Villa Encantada to anyone and would go back without hesitation.

Absolutely Perfect Vacation

Villa Encantada exceeded our expectations on every level. The Villa is gorgeous with every detail thought out and every amenity you could possibly need. It’s inviting with plenty of space to lounge around, even with 13 people it never felt crowded. The Villa’s staff, Rene, Walter and Isabel were key in making our stay comfortable, memorable and over the top. This really is a personal, all inclusive resort! Rene met us on the first day with margaritas, chips & salsa and a big smile. Throughout the week, we marveled at how he thought of and took care of everything. Walter’s cooking brought down the house…we ate breakfast and dinner at the Villa every day except one (their well-deserved day off). We enjoyed the food so much, we asked if he would teach us how to make a few dishes and he happily indulged us, crowing one of our guests as his sous chef. Isabel’s presence and attention to detail was felt every day we walked into our perfectly made up rooms. I can’t say enough about the staff, they were professional and kind, but also joked and treated us like friends.

Hands down this was one of the best vacations I have ever taken. Everything is so well taken care of and the Villa is incredibly comfortable, my friends and family really got to relax and enjoy time with each other. We were in or by the pool most days with short excursions into town to find the best taco stands for lunch. The 15 minute walk down into town is super easy, but in September it can get really hot, so we usually took a quick/cheap taxi ride back up the hill to the Villa. We were always eager and happy to get back to the Villa. Being together with friends and family made the vacation very special for us, and staying at Villa Encantada made it perfect.

Without hesitation I highly recommend Villa Encantada…truly an amazing experience.

We had a wonderful vacation while in Puerto Vallarta. The staff at Villa Encantada and the house itself was amazing. Rene, houseman and concierge, Walter, the chef, and Isabel, the maid, made our stay feel like a home away from home. Rene was fabulous. He answered any questions that we had and just catered to our every need. Walter’s food was delicious! The food offered at the restaurants in Puerto Vallarta cannot compare to Walter’s cooking. Isabel kept the villa immaculately clean on a daily basis. The villa itself is in a great location with beautiful views. I highly recommend anyone to come and indulge in this experience.

Where do I begin!? This vacation was the best trip of my life! From the moment we set foot in the 5,000sq/ft, luxurious villa, we felt so pampered and RIGHT at home! The villa offers sweeping views of lush jungle and pristine ocean. Palm trees shade you and provide so much beauty as you watch the gorgeous sunsets in the evening. The villa has everything you may need or want….and MORE!

The villa is incredibly spacious and has ornate features throughout. I absolutely loved the air conditioned rooms and the INCREDIBLE views the suites provided! Simply breathtaking! Everything you may need is in the rooms: Hairdryers, towels, a safe for your belongings, clean linens, tons of pillows and a lot of space for your luggage/items. Really comfortable!

The pool and lower deck area was where we spent most of our time. It truly feels like a fancy resort! The staff bring you drinks in the pool and cater to your every need. The house runs on purified water which was a HUGE comfort of home–you can eat and drink anything! Speaking of the food….it was some of the best cooking I’ve ever had! They offer a 7 page, gourmet menu, complete with bacon- wrapped prawns, lobster and DELICIOUS enchiladas! The staff puts any restaurants cooking to shame! The 3 staff that we had, Renee, Walter & Isabelle, were out of this world! Accommodating, polite, funny and catering every minute of every day. I didn’t lift a finger! They made the experience SO worth it. Having them was one of the highlights of the trip, as we were all able to spend more time together instead of grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning. The staff is one-in-a-million! Best service ever.

The owner of the Villa is very hands on throughout the process and was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to go. One of the best thing we did while in PV was take a boat trip to Hidden Beach. It was an incredible experience!

I feel as if I could go on and on about this stunning villa and the staff who work tirelessly to keep it running. It really was the perfect way to unwind and escape the daily duties of life. I was so relaxed! I cannot WAIT to book my next stay at the fabulous Villa and lay by the pool with a margarita again very soon!

I would recommend staying here to anyone!

We will be back to Villa Encantada!

We selected Villa Encantada for many reasons, including its size for our large party of nine, the fact that it was newer and well appointed, and we could take advantage of the on-site staff. We also appreciated the promptness of Paul’s responses to our initial inquiries (and his patience with our many questions!). As soon as we arrived, we knew we made an excellent choice – we were greeted by Rene and the house looked exactly as it does in the pictures. Rene quickly made us comfortable with margaritas, guacamole and chips… and our vacation started as soon as we arrived. I didn’t unpack my bags until 3 days in because I was immediately in vacation mode. We arrived on Saturday and had dinner prepared by Walter — a delicious spread of chicken enchiladas. We had pre-selected our menu for remainder of the week and after dinner on our own on Sunday, we couldn’t wait for the next one. We ventured out on Sunday night to Barcelona Tapas & Bar, which has panoramic views of the bay and some of the best food in town. It was back to Walter’s cooking for the rest of the week, along with Rene’s attentive service and we couldn’t have been happier we chose to eat in every night. (We only left the house one other night – after dinner – all week to venture out and explore some of the nightlife in town.) The food was healthy, delicious, gourmet and surprisingly inexpensive for a week of 6 breakfasts and 6 dinners, including two shrimp dinners, mahi-mahi, steak fajitas and chicken tacos. We bought our own alcohol and lunches for the week at Costco on our way into town; however, Rene and Walter will graciously pick up anything for you or do all of your shopping if you want. Isabel was also great. We were so busy enjoying ourselves that we barely knew she was there until we walked into our rooms which were cleaned every day. She also did laundry for some in our group. Walter deserves his nickname “Diablo” for many reasons, one of which being the scare he gave us as we were all on the edge of our seats glued to the TV watching an intense scene of American Horror Story on Netflix. This was a great vacation and we only went to the beach 3 times during the week because the house was so comfortable, the pool was so inviting and relaxing, and the service so great. It’s also a short walk to a convenience store. We will definitely rent Villa Encantada again for our next big group celebration in Puerto Vallarta. Thanks to Paul, Rene, Walter and Isabel for a memorable 40th birthday!!!!
